Dr. Nikki is a native Nebraskan who has provided exceptional hearing healthcare to Nebraskans since 2003. She specializes in diagnosing and effectively treating all types of hearing disorders and regularly works with patients of all ages. Her diagnostic and treatment skills were honed over her 15 years as the Director of Audiology at one of the largest ENT medical practices in the state. There, she saw all manners of hearing and balance disordered patients, which is knowledge and experience she continues to draw on to help her patients today.
Dr. Nikki became interested in audiology from a young age after learning about her dad’s hearing loss and seeing first-hand how gaining treatment for that hearing loss positively impacted her family. As a result, she grew up understanding the importance of successful treatment of hearing loss on a person’s career, family, and social interactions.
Dr. Nikki received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Philadelphia. She has been actively involved in many professional organizations. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), and a member of the Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA), where she is serving her third term as a board member and has also been a past committee chair. She has also been a past educational speaker at the NSLHA state convention. She has served as a preceptor for graduate students in the audiology program at the University of Nebraska since 2005.
Dr. Nikki lives in the Gretna area with her husband and three kids, two dogs, and one cat. She loves watching her kids’ events (sports and stage performances). She currently serves on The NSLHA Board as VP of Advocacy, the Sarpy County Head Start Health Advisory Board, and the Gretna High School Band Parent Organization. She loves all outdoor activities, but spending time at the lake or river with her family is at the top.
